Acceptable use policy
Purpose and scope
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets rules for use of the Vmoox platform, APIs, and related services provided by Besticoder. It applies to all users, workspace members, administrators, and integrations connected to accounts on vmoox.com and app.vmoox.com.
This AUP supplements the Terms of Service. Violations may result in suspension, termination, content removal, or legal action.
Lawful use and export compliance
You must use the Service only in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, sanctions, export controls, and industry rules in every jurisdiction where you operate or communicate with data subjects.
You may not use the Service for unlawful surveillance, fraud, money laundering, trafficking, exploitation, or any activity that exposes Vmoox to unacceptable legal or reputational risk.
Account and workspace security
You are responsible for securing credentials, enforcing least-privilege access, reviewing workspace membership, revoking access for departed personnel, and monitoring activity within your organization.
You must promptly notify support@vmoox.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account or a security incident affecting the Service.
Prohibited content
You may not upload, transmit, or store content that is illegal, infringes intellectual property or privacy rights, contains malware, or facilitates harm to individuals or groups.
You are solely responsible for obtaining rights and consents for content you process through the Service, including marketing lists, customer records, and message templates.
Prohibited conduct
The following activities are prohibited: attempting to gain unauthorized access to systems or data; probing or scanning without authorization; interfering with Service integrity or performance; distributing spam or unsolicited bulk messages; harassing, threatening, or defrauding others; circumventing usage limits or billing controls; or reselling access without written permission.
Automated scraping or crawling that overloads infrastructure or bypasses technical limits is prohibited.
Messaging and third-party platform rules
If you connect messaging or communication integrations, including WhatsApp or similar channels, you must comply with the third party's terms, acceptable use rules, consent requirements, opt-out obligations, and messaging policies.
Vmoox is not responsible for blocks, bans, delivery failures, or enforcement actions imposed by third-party platforms due to your messaging practices or configuration.
Privacy and data protection obligations
Where you process personal data through the Service, you are responsible as controller (or equivalent) for providing notices, obtaining lawful bases and consents, honoring data subject rights, and maintaining records required by applicable privacy law.
You must not process special categories of sensitive data through the Service unless you have implemented appropriate legal authority, safeguards, and organizational controls.
Fair use and resource limits
You must not use the Service in a manner that excessively consumes resources, degrades performance for other customers, or evades technical restrictions associated with your plan.
We may throttle, rate-limit, or suspend workloads that present operational risk or violate plan entitlements.
Monitoring and enforcement
We may monitor use of the Service for security, abuse prevention, and legal compliance to the extent permitted by law and our Privacy Policy. Monitoring does not obligate Vmoox to detect or prevent all violations.
We may investigate complaints and cooperate with law enforcement where required. Serious violations may be referred to authorities and affected third parties.
Reporting abuse
To report suspected violations, contact support@vmoox.com with relevant URLs, workspace identifiers, timestamps, and description of the issue. We may request additional information to evaluate the report.
False or malicious reports may themselves constitute a violation of this AUP.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access immediately for violations or credible risk of harm, without refund except as required by mandatory law or our limited Refund Policy exceptions.
You remain responsible for exporting data prior to termination where access is still available and for lawful handling of data after termination.
Changes to this policy
We may update this AUP to address new abuse patterns, legal requirements, or product capabilities. Updated versions take effect when posted unless otherwise stated.
Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised AUP, subject to mandatory rights that cannot be waived.
